Jill founded IDC in 2003 having graduated in
interior design at the Inchbald and Reading Schools of Art and
Design. She had been inspired by a dynamic 20 year career as
a key marketing executive for a diverse number of elegant hotel
chains and iconic boutique hotels worldwide:
- The Hempel London
- Four Seasons London
- Hilton Hotels USA
- Ritz Carlton USA
- Pan Pacific Asia/Pacific
- St James‘s Club Antigua
- Cobblers Cove Barbados
- Sandals Resorts Caribbean
- Madejski Stadium Hotel
During this time, she also had the privilege of working alongside
celebrated hotel designers including Anouska Hempel
and Hirsch Bedner. |
Jill’s background has given her a good commercial insight
into the design challenges and success stories of newly built
hotels and resorts worldwide. She understands the need to balance
comfortable and classical designs for the discerning traveller
with practical interior solutions to impact the smooth running
of the hotel. Using the simple principles of matching good
design with immaculate service, she aims to provide a good return
on investment for the owners, operators and developers.
Leading her new company, Jill’s expertise is complimented
by a network of experienced specialists including key consultants
and a team of skilled craftsmen.
